The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!

So, today The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! is out in the UK. Its been a long time coming, and after working on it for a year and a half, it feels like it was all worth it.

I was lucky enough to go to the Bristol premiere of the film on Sunday, and I have to say it was amazing! You’ll read better and less biased reviews pretty much anywhere else so I’ll leave it at that.

I’d also recommend visiting The Pirates! website and having a go at some of the games and read through the production blog. If you only play one beard weevil game this year it should be this one!

I loved working working on this film, and had a lot of fun making all sorts of things, including hands, hair, beards, swords, armatures, boots, and a hell of a lot of eyes!

And finally, here’s another trailer for the film just to get you interested!

Blunderbus and Playstation Magazine

So a few quick updates to make up for my recent silence.

In January, as well as posting about my Turian models, I was working over at Blunderbus Theatre Company making puppets for their current touring production of ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’. Here are a few pics of the puppet making process.

Tour dates for the show can be found Here.

In February the lovely people over at the Official UK Playstation Magazine wrote an article about my Turian models. As you can see from the picture, I was pretty pleased about it.
