Dec 11 – Present Freelance sculpting commissions
Including 10 bronze resin Dragon Slayer trophies for DragonCon 2012, and models for a vinyl toy show at Kidrobot London.
October 2012 Hothouse IWG
Working on large scale props for events and exhibitions. Including Five 3m tall rugby balls, assembling from CNC’s polystyrene, skimming, finishing, painting, touch ups and varnishing.

February 2012 Starbucks “Name on a Cup” – Partizan
Worked as an Assistant Animator on this live action commercial shoot, assisting with the animation of paper cups in close-up shots.
July 10 – Oct 11 The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists – Director Pete Lord
Junior Model Maker in the puppet making department at Aardman Features. My main duties include armature making, silicone casting, silicone clean-up, mould making, foam latex trimming and seaming, puppet maintenance and working as one half of the eye making team.
June – July 2010 Playing Ghost – Director Bianca Ansems
Making Silicone and fiberglass parts for three stop motion puppets at the National Film and Television School. This included sculpting, mould making, casting all the character hands, clean-up of seams on silicone hands and heads, painting hands, making fiberglass skulls for each puppet and assisting in making the wigs for the main character
May – Sept 2010 The Roadside – Director Alan Warren
Currently working on pre-production prop making for feature film The Roadside in preparation for the start of filming in Sept.
Feb 2010 Chumpy Nuts – Director Nick Mackie
Creation of main hand puppet (the eponymous Chumpy) for pilot show.
March – June 09 BBC Scotland – Ooglies – Exec Prod Nick Hopkin
Working as a stop-motion animator on series 1 and 2 of Ooglies for CBBC. This job involved animating stop motion puppets, set dressing and some model making. I attended regular animatics meetings to discuss story changes and the feasibility of all shots to be filmed. Also creatively involved in planning out key sequences and script re-writes.
Nov 05 Road Safety Campaign
A commissioned project, animating characters from a book of road safety poems written by Welsh school children. The two poems that I adapted into films formed part of a DVD sent out to schools in Wales to accompany the book.
Placements and Internships
Feb 2009 Fantastic Mr Fox – American Empirical Pictures
Aided in fabrication of primary character parts. Provided ongoing support within the on site puppet hospital, preparing animal fur and eyes to be transferred onto puppets, and providing general maintenance.
July 05 & 06 Aardman – Head of Model Making Kate Anderson
Two placements at Aardman on the second and third series of Creature Comforts sculpting background characters, props, and press moulds.
Feb 2009 Royal Shakespeare Company- Prop Workshop – Maggie Atkins
Assisting in the prop making department for the summer production of A Winters Tale. Produced a number of soft props.
Aug 07 Calon – Hana’s Helpline – Director Tom Edgar
Working on the second series of ‘Hana’s Helpline’ making background scenery, re-skinning puppets, sewing puppet clothing and conducting animation tests.
Dec 06 – Jan 07 Collision Films – Chris Hopewell
Working in the model making department on ‘The Bees’ music video WhoCares What The Question Is? Making buildings, sea life, dessert plants and rocks and cars, all from plasticine, other duties included set dressing and animating. Also supervised placement students from a local university.

November 2012 Currently I am working on a few small pieces to be displayed at the Sneaky Snow Ball Christmas event at Kidrobot London this year.
October 2012 Provided a number of my previous models for the Aardman Show & Tell exhibition in Bristol.
August 2012 Sculpted a 5inch model dragon for the charity event Dragons at the Sho Gallery in Cardiff in aid of Diabetes UK.
Nov 07, 08 & 09 Encounters Festival – Volunteer delegate steward, usher and model making workshop assistant at the Bristol Short Film and Animation festival.
